ABSOLUTELY YES!!!! I just wanted to let you all know that JJ and I travelled to London last Friday (29th Nov) and met up with about 40 Warriors.

This was out first visit and definitely wont be our last. Thought I would give you a quick run down of the day:

The train journey is around 1 ½ hours so we spent this planning and updating our strategy for our network of niche sites. The major decision was that we seriously needed a virtual assistant to assist in the daily operations of our business. More on this another time. Anyway….

We arrived at the Strand Hotel, not sure what to expect and headed straight to the bar – always a good place to start and say Hi to people.

Very soon we were seated and eating a fine lunch and were conversing with a fantastic mix of individuals who were a pleasure to meet. During lunch it was apparent that although everyone was into “internet marketing”, everyone was doing something very different and had various skills.

Hearing and discussing issues with people who actually understand the term upsell, oto, seo, bookmarking, wordpress, html, php was totally refreshing and liberating.

The energy and noise levels were steadily rising as people bonded and formed relationships. Incredibly I was sat next to a chap called Kevin, who after a little digging, I had known and conversed with on another forum over 12 months previous. What a co incidence!

After lunch we moved to the bar, were we met even more great people with even more stories, strategies and general sharing of ideas.

Unfortunately we had to leave at around 6 to catch our train home, leaving many to continue.

A few personal messages –

Martin – thank you for organising the event, it is currently growing in size each time and I think will continue to do so from talking to people who attended. Look forward to meeting again and talking more.

David – Good luck with your new venture, it sounds like a real solid business with massive potential. More importantly don’t forget your roots – you are a WINNER, we have bought the domain name and will soon be in touch with the details :)

Kevin – nice to meet you, keep up the good WP work and if you keep looking to the stars you will find your great profitable niche. If you need any more clues I see a profitable JV ahead :)

May – Pleasure to meet you, keep stomping and maybe next year I’ll take you up on your offer and go to America for one of the seminars! Nice blog themes like ours  (we think) available from ithemes and thanks for the tip on outsourcing.

Steven – did you look at the great affiliate program you discussed  with JJ – here it is

Robert our very own property magnate, Adam our voice over guy and everyone else it was good to meet you all and hopefully we will talk again and see how we all have improved our businesses or else feel guilty and have to get the beers in :)

In conclusion I would recommend everyone to once in a while get out of the house, leave the PC and actually meet other marketers. Not only will they help you, share their knowledge and I guarantee you will be able to help them aswell.

JJ and I are lucky that we work in partnership so constantly have someone to bounce ideas off, motivate and be accountable too. This is one of our secrets to be so productive.

To your success

Hi Guys
I love the property magnate part, it almost sounds believable. It was a pleasure to meet you both. Merry Christmas to everybody and a happy new year
Cheers
Rob

Hi guys

Sounds like you had a great time !!

I 100000% agree as my new journey of actually getting somewhere online began by going out to a seminar…

Where I met Alex Jeffreys and when everything changed ( As you can see on my blog )

So to all reading this, do as JJ and Jason say.. Get out there, go meet like minded people… It actually feels really good to speak with others that understand :)

Speak soon
